  • Focus on the Basics: Easy-to-follow guidance focusing entirely on the foundational rhythms and movements of Bachata.
  • Socialize & Practice: Plenty of time to laugh, practice your new moves, and connect with a fantastic group of welcoming locals.

How It Works - 3-Week Bachata Series

This class is part of a progressive 3-week Bachata journey designed to build your confidence week by week:

  • Week 1: The Basics - your first steps, timing, and how to move naturally with a partner.
  • Week 2: Building Confidence - expanding on the basics with smooth new moves and simple combinations.
  • Week 3: Putting It Together - learning essential turns, styling, and how to use everything confidently on a real social dance floor.

Drop-ins are always welcome! There is zero commitment and no homework. You can drop in for any single class, but if you attend all three weeks, you will walk away fully ready for our monthly social parties or any Latin night out in the Sarasota area.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Choose shoes that slide easily and stay securely on your feet (please, no flip-flops or heavy work boots).

I have two left feet, can I still come?
Absolutely! This is a judgment-free zone created specifically for absolute beginners. We mock the stress and focus entirely on having a good time.
