Combining outdoor adventure with Latin rhythm, this gathering brings together water lovers and dancers for guided kayaking expeditions, beach relaxation, and plenty of dancing to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Reggaeton on the sand.

What to Expect
- Kayak Expeditions on the Bay: swfl Kayak Tours will have five kayaks available for attendees to rotate and paddle out onto the water in approximate 1-hour sessions. Explore the coastline, paddle the shallows, and enjoy the open water.
- Latin Dancing on the Sand: When you are off the water, hit the beach dance area powered by portable sound playing a lively rotation of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Reggaeton.
- Bring Your Own Kayak or SUP: Have your own kayak, paddleboard, or water gear? Bring it along to launch directly from the beach and hit the water whenever you like.
- Community Funded by Voluntary Donations: This entire kayaking experience is offered through community goodwill. Contributions and voluntary donations directly support equipment maintenance, life vests, and the team providing the gear.
What to Bring
- Beach Essentials: Towels, beach chairs, pop-up shade, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water shoes.
- Food & Hydration: Pack your own picnic lunch, cooler, snacks, and plenty of water or non-alcoholic refreshments to stay energized all afternoon.
- Dance & Swim Attire: Wear comfortable swimwear or light beach clothes that let you move easily between paddling in the water and dancing on the shore.

The event is hosted at Skyway Beach along the Sunshine Skyway Causeway in South Pinellas County, FL. The gathering runs from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Arrive early in the afternoon to secure your parking spot along the causeway beach, set up your spot on the sand, sign up for a kayak rotation, and join in the dancing.
