Evening Schedule
- 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Kiz Class with Doug (Matrix of Movement): Open to all experience levels. Learn essential lead-and-follow connection, grounded body movement, musicality, and weight transfer fundamentals. Rotations make it easy to learn without bringing a partner.
- 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM | Kiz & Zouk Social: Hit the floor for three solid hours of social dancing to an authentic, curated mix of Brazilian Zouk, Urban Kiz, traditional Kizomba, and high-energy Semba.
Night Highlights
- Two Communities, One Floor: A dedicated crossover social bringing together the Florida Brazilian Zouk and Kizomba scenes under one roof for connection and flow.
- Instruction from Doug: Gain actionable technique and partnering tips from Doug (Matrix of Movement) in an encouraging, low-pressure workshop setting.
- Creative Arts District Venue: Held inside Unit 8B at The Factory St. Pete in the Warehouse Arts District, offering an open industrial space, dance-friendly floors, and an arts-centered community vibe.
- Open to Everyone: Beginners and experienced social dancers from St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, and Sarasota are all welcome.
Venue & Arrival Info
Doors open at 7:00 PM for the workshop. Arrive early to check in, change into your dance shoes, and get warmed up before class starts. On-site parking is available throughout The Factory campus.
