Prop Etiquette & Park Guidelines
- Approved Props: A limited supply of park-friendly props will be available for early arrivals. If bringing items from home, ensure they are safe for an outdoor lawn environment.
- Tossing Safety: When tossing props, always throw them straight up, to the side, or behind you - never directly at the movie screen or cast performers.
- Prohibited Items: To protect the park grounds and wildlife, rice, open flames (lighters, matches, or candles), and confetti are strictly prohibited.
- Clean-Up Reminder: Please help leave the park cleaner than you found it by gathering your belongings and picking up all discarded props around your area after the show.
- Content Advisory: The film is rated R and contains mature themes, campy adult humor, and irreverent dialogue.

The screening runs from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Because this annual event draws a large crowd, early arrival is recommended to set up lawn chairs, claim your spot, and pick up prop bags before the presentation gets underway.
- Free Parking: Available on a first-come, first-served basis in the lots fronting the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall (777 N Tamiami Trail), the Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trail), along the north side of Boulevard of the Arts, and throughout the nearby Rosemary District. (Please avoid parking on the south side of Boulevard of the Arts or in designated Sarasota Orchestra spaces.)
- Pets: Well-behaved, leashed pets (up to a 6-foot leash) are welcome in outdoor park areas.
- Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, event cancellations will be posted on The Bay website calendar and Eventbrite up to one hour prior to the scheduled start time.
