Event Legacy

This special milonga was originally conceived and launched by the world-renowned Argentine Tango maestros Junior Cervila and Guadalupe Garcia. While they are currently out of town sharing their artistry on tour, Peter Simoneau are stepping in to keep the flame burning bright, ensuring the community continues to have a beautiful space to connect, embrace, and dance.

The Venue Advantage: Sara Dance Center boasts a spacious layout and a top-tier, beautiful hardwood floor that is exceptionally kind to dancers' feet.
If you are attending a pre-milonga class: Please park and enter through the back studio a little before 8:00 PM.

Event Highlights & Schedule

Come enjoy a night of fantastic social dancing with friends from near and far in a warm, sophisticated, and welcoming atmosphere.

Evening Timeline:
  • 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Optional Pre-Milonga Class): Sometimies, guest instructors offer an optional pre-milonga class in the back studio. For specific details regarding the topic, who is teaching, and pricing, please contact the milonga organizer.
  • 9:00 PM - Midnight (The Milonga): Step onto the floor to incredible traditional tandas curated by the fantastic guest TDJs.
  • Hospitality Corner: Complimentary light snacks, bottled water, and red wine are thoughtfully provided by the hosts to keep your energy up and your feet moving throughout the night.

Admission & Travel Discounts

We love welcoming traveling dancers to our floor! To make the drive a little easier for our regional neighbors, we feature a unique distance-based discount tier:

Pricing Structure:
  • In Advance Tier: $20
  • At the Door Rate: $25
  • The Road-Trip Discount: If you are traveling from out of town, deduct $0.10 per mile from the standard door price! (For example: If you drive 50 miles to get here, take $5 off the total, making your admission just $20).
