About VA Tango
Viktor and Aksana are highly experienced Argentine Tango instructors with a long history in the Florida dance scene. Now based in the Sarasota area, they bring over 30 years of professional dance and choreography experience to the local community.
Both Viktor and Aksana have deep technical backgrounds in Ballet and Modern dance. Viktor previously served as an Associate Professor at the Art Academy of Moscow (GITIS), while Aksana has spent nearly two decades specializing in Argentine Tango. Their combined expertise makes them a prominent fixture for dancers looking for high-quality instruction.
Teaching Style & Approach
Technical Precision: Because of their academic and ballet backgrounds, Viktor and Aksana focus heavily on the "mechanics" of the dance. They help students master posture, axis, and the technical side of the embrace to make the dance feel effortless.
